President Zelenskyy thanks Britain and his buddy Dear Rishi for helping push Russia back

UKRAINE President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Britain and his buddy “Dear Rishi” for helping give him the “wings of freedom” to push Russia back.
Speaking to G7 leaders in Hiroshima, Japan, he said thousands of lives would be saved thanks to the expected new F16 fighter jets that would form an “umbrella in the sky”.
He thanked the Prime Minister “for your energy, which gives us more visionary and far-reaching possibilities”.
“I believe that your leadership will help give real power to the law as we create the tribunal on Russia’s aggression together with our partners.
And he has promised US President Joe Biden that the jets will not be used in direct attacks on Russia for fear of escalation.
Mr Sunak used his own speech to warn that a ceasefire is not a “just peace” for Ukraine – which deserves sovereignty.
And he promised that Britain would support Ukraine “for as long as necessary”.
He said: “Anyone who calls for peace but really means a truce should realize that this is not peace.”
Instead, they should demand a long-term deal that respects their sovereignty and integrity in the international system, he said.
