Popular sports bar adds to tally of 104 restaurants with brand new location ‘just in time’ after unexpected delays

A popular sports bar chain has expanded its lineup of locations with a brand new restaurant.
After a delay in opening, the first beers will be served just in time for football season.

Twin Peaks has opened a new bar in Jacksonville, Florida.
Competing with Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, customers at the new eatery can expect ice-cold beer, a selection of popular bar snacks and 43 televisions in 6,800 square feet of space.
Locals hoped their new Twin Peaks would arrive sooner than it did.
The restaurant was scheduled to open on Labor Day, but was delayed due to “recent weather events and unforeseen circumstances,” an Instagram post said.

But officials from the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon on Thursday, Sept. 7, just in time for the NFL season.
This Jacksonville restaurant marks the 10th Twin Peaks in Florida.
“The people of the Sunshine State love their sports and know how to have a good time,” Twin Peaks CEO Joe Hummel said in a press release.
“Florida is the perfect market for us because, in addition to our great mix of food and 80-degree beer, we are also the best place to sit back and watch your favorite teams play.”
So far, customers have been happy with the new addition to the area.
“I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious,” one visitor wrote on Instagram.
Another wrote on Google Reviews: “What a great experience! From the moment we walked in they greeted us with smiles and everyone was super sweet.”
NEW PEAKS
This newest location brings the chain’s nationwide restaurant count to 105.
Twin Peaks has grown rapidly this year and plans to open several more locations by the end of 2023.
The highest concentrations of restaurants are currently in Florida and Texas.
But Twin Peaks is also opening its first venues in major cities like Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Columbus, Ohio.
Twin Peaks prides itself on serving a wide selection of draft beers at 29 degrees and making all bar food in-house.
These differences and the scantily clad waiters have helped the chain stand out as a newcomer to the breast jewelry scene.
The competitor Tilted Kilt, however, hasn’t been so lucky in recent years.
The number of British-style pub chains has shrunk from 80 in 2017 to just nine branches.

Industry veteran Hooters, on the other hand, hasn’t slowed down at all and is working on opening six new locations.
Interestingly, Hooter founder Robert Howell Brooks’ son is now a Twin Peaks franchisee.
