Poppaedo Gary Glitter hides his wealth from the tax officer at an offshore company based in a tax haven

FREED paedo glam rocker Gary Glitter has hidden his fortune from the tax officer at an offshore company based in a tax haven.
Glitter, believed to be worth £8million, has diverted its funds to Shoreview LLP through a network of holdings it set up in Anguilla, West Indies.

The firm’s activities are protected from public scrutiny under local law, which critics say will mean UK taxpayers will never see a penny of the 78-year-old’s wealth.
Glitter was first arrested in 1997 for child abuse images.
He spent three years in a Vietnamese prison from 2006 for molesting two girls and is now free after serving half of a 16-year sentence there for child molestation.
The monster – whose “depraved and horrible crimes” in 1975 and 1980 included the attempted rape of an eight-year-old girl – still owns a flat in London.
He was released from HMP The Verne on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, and is staying at a bail hostel where local resident father David Jones, 46, called yesterday and was holding the hand of his six-year-old daughter.
The builder said he wanted to know why glitter was there. He raged: “That’s what my taxes are for – that a man like that lives here?
“He should have died in prison. You should protect my daughter. Not him.”
Glitter stopped receiving royalties on its music after Snapped Music bought its master recordings in January 1997.
In the US, Universal Music Publishing Group owns the publishing rights to, but pays no royalties to, “Rock and Roll Part II,” which was featured in the film The Joker.
