MT. LEBANON (KDKA) – Student of the Mt. Lebanon will arrive at the school as planned this morning but there will be an increased police presence on campus.
Police in Mount Lebanon and federal law enforcement are investigating a threat against the high school and other schools in the area on social media platform Yik-Yak.
The threat is not believed to be credible.
The school superintendent notified families of the threat Tuesday night by email and let them know that school would continue as planned.
They told students who were planning to take Keystone Algebra I to arrive at 8 a.m. scheduled, and anyone who didn’t take the test should also arrive at 10 a.m. scheduled.
