PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two Pittsburgh paramedics helped bring a decided baby into the world a little earlier.
The Pittsburgh EMS office said paramedics Dan Sprouse and Brianna Kramer heard over the radio that an unexpected baby was on its way and arrived at the scene within minutes.
The office said the mother did all the work before EMS got there, but paramedics cut the cord and performed the evaluations and medical care she was able to receive at the hospital in the coming days. normal case.
Paramedics usually don’t have to deliver babies, and that was the first time Kramer did. But as for Sprouse, the office says he has helped bring nine babies to the world during his career.
“The wonderful work of Sprouse and Kramer, who help keep Mom and baby safe and healthy,” EMS wrote.
