When the US Supreme Court ruled NCAA players could use their names and likenesses, Adomitis put his “cuteness” first. Specifically her hair. Deal: donate $94,000 to Children’s Hospital and he’ll get a haircut.
He’s raised more than $114,000, and on Friday he delivered on his promise.
Before the big incident, Adomitis spent some time at Heinz Field with his new teammates from Cal’s Kids. Children who are battling cancer have a chance to throw the ball with the long snapper.
He said cutting his hair to raise money for Children was his way of giving back.
“The idea really arose from something I used to joke about with my old roommates. When I first grew my hair long, they said, ‘how much will it cost us to cut your hair?’ Going into this year, with the excitement around this team, I think we can really use that to raise funds for a great cause and then throw it away after we get something done. nice,” he said.

When game time came, Cal didn’t call because the time was up. A man of few words, all of his long hair was cut off.
