Addison is the third Panther to win the award, along with Antonio Bryant and Larry Fitzgerald. The second wide receiver beat Purdue’s David Bell and Alabama’s Jameson Williams.
“This is an absolutely incredible honor,” Addison said in a statement. “Every day at our practice facility, I walk past the Biletnikoff Prize trophies won by Larry Fitzgerald and Antonio Bryant. I always go up and put my hand on the trophy because that is my goal to win it one day. I am humbled and fortunate to be joining those all-time greats. “
Addison has had 93 catches for 1,479 yards received and 17 touchdowns so far this season.
Addison and midfielder Kenny Pickett were also placed in the All-American first team.
Pitt played Michigan State in the Peach Bowl.
