Piers Morgan responds after Man Utd’s Cristiano Ronaldo was AXED over his bombshell interview with TalkTV host

PIERS MORGAN has reacted to the news that Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving Manchester United.

The Red Devils announced the Portuguese star is set to leave the club with immediate effect following his damning interview with Morgan.

During the TalkTV interview, Ronaldo slammed the club for not making any progress since originally leaving the club for Real Madrid in 2009.

The 37-year-old also revealed he doesn’t respect manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo’s playing time had been cut dramatically this season as the Dutch manager changed the club’s style of play, despite being the club’s top scorer last season.

Since the interview it seemed only a matter of time before Ronaldo left the club and now it’s official.

Morgan, who got the interview, reacted to the news by tweeting, “The End.”

The news comes less than 48 hours before Ronaldo starts his fifth World Cup season with Portugal.

The 2016 European champions meet Ghana on Thursday afternoon in Doha.

And captain Ronaldo will enter the game unemployed as a free agent.
