Piers Morgan mocks Prince Andrew joking ‘he might find out he can sweat’ after sexual assault lawsuit

PIERS Morgan mocked Prince Andrew after he was forced to fight a sexual assault lawsuit – joking that he “probably found out he could break a sweat”.

The firebrand TV station poke Duke of York after a judge ruled he would face a court battle with rape accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

He failed in his attempt to stop the case after being sued for allegedly sexually abusing his accuser when she was 17 years old.

The bomb verdict is a blow to the royal family, who have steadfastly denied Ms Giuffre’s allegations.

Her allegations have plagued Andrew, 61, since she first made them in 2011, when the infamous photo of him with his arm around her emerged.

Post a picture of the disgraced Duke on Twitter, Piers wrote “someone may have just discovered that they can sweat…”

Andrews’ reputation went up in smoke over questions about his friendship with pedophiles Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who recently convicted Trafficking in girls for him to abuse.

This isn’t the first time the former GMB presenter has done the royal trick, sly digging after Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial returned.

He said: “Will vile sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell sing like a canary now to avoid spending the rest of his life in prison?” he wondered.

“If she did, there would probably be a lot of rich, powerful, and famous people sweating … and not sweating.”

The Duke has always staunchly denied all the charges against him, and has denied ever meeting the accused in an interview with the BBC about the car accident.

During the interview, he also strangely claimed that he was medically unable to sweat, and that he was at Pizza Express at the time of her claim.

Duke told Newsnight’s Emily Maitlis being “shot at” during his time as a helicopter pilot during the Falklands War caused him to develop a medical condition, dyschromia.

He claimed a “special medical condition” meant he couldn’t sweat properly at the time, and couldn’t “sweat a lot,” as Roberts claimed.

RAPE ALLEGATION

His current predicament stems from his controversial friendship with pedophile Epstein, who Ms Giuffre alleges introduced her to the royal family.

She accused Epstein of raping her and sued him but reached an out-of-court settlement in 2009 in which she was paid $500,000 (£371,000) in return for the case.

At this stage, it’s unclear whether Andrew will give direct evidence, via a video link, or refuse to participate.

Virginia claims she was trafficked by the sick duo Epstein and Maxwell to be abused by Andrew after meeting him at a London nightclub.

It is thought she was taken back to Ghislaine’s house, where she was forced to have sex with the Royal Family, who was 41 years old at the time.

Andrew strongly denies any charges against him and also claims he was unaware of any wrongdoing by his two friends Maxwell and Epstein.
