PHILIPPE COUTINHO is set to be offered a quick exit from Aston Villa by Galatasaray THIS WEEK.
The Istanbul giants are aiming to land the disgraced Brazil international before Turkey’s transfer window closes on Wednesday.

Galatasaray want Villa to agree to a loan deal, at least initially.
But the Premier League club will be looking to recoup some of the £17million they spent last summer to make the player’s temporary move from Barcelona permanent.
Coutinho was linked with a return to South America last month after failing in the pecking order at Villa Park under new boss Unai Emery.
The former Liverpool star has not scored or assisted a single goal this season and is yet to start a Premier League game under Emery.
Coutinho is one of Villa’s highest earners with a salary of around £125,000 a week.
Topping Turkey’s top flight, Galatasaray would offer first-team football with the prospect of European competitions next season.
Coutinho was brought to Villa Park on loan from Barcelona by former Anfield teammate Steven Gerrard in January 2022.
After an impressive six months, he signed permanently last summer but struggled to reach the same heights in the first six months.

Coutinho has managed just eight starts in his 20 appearances this season and is still without a goal or assist.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are top of the Turkish league, six points ahead of Fenerbahce.
The leaders are unbeaten for nine years and are aiming for their first league title in four years after dethroning Trabzonspor.
