PEYTON Manning had a surprising reaction live on ESPN’s ManningCast after Aaron Rodgers suffered an injury in his debut on Monday Night Football.

The New York Jets’ 39-year-old star quarterback was placed on a stretcher after being sacked by Buffalo Bills pass rusher Leonard Floyd on the team’s first drive.

Rodgers left the field and quickly made his way to the injury tent.

He remained there for several minutes before being taken to the locker room on a moving stretcher.

Peyton, who is alongside his brother Eli Manning, reacted during the alternate broadcast of Monday Night Football.

With his hands on his head, the NFL Hall of Famer screamed: “Holy cow! I can not believe that.”

Eli was also distraught and speechless about the injury.

Former Indianapolis Colts legend Peyton continued to express his concerns about the injury.

“I thought it was just an ankle,” he said.

“I thought we would record it and get him back in there.

Rodgers made his Jets debut after playing the past 18 seasons for the Green Bay Packers.

New York announced Rodgers had an ankle injury and later ruled him out for the game.

The Jets would hand the quarterback keys to former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson.

Rodgers reportedly left the X-ray room at MetLife Stadium wearing a walking boot.
