Pete Davidson will be completely unrecognizable in the upcoming heavy horror movie The Home, the director points out

PETE Davidson has been selected to take on the acting challenge of his career in the upcoming horror film.
The Saturday Night Live graduate will have to shed his comedic instincts and delve into his darker nature for his role in The Home.
53-year-old director James DeMonaco shifted his focus from the next Purge installment, The Purge 6, to investing in getting The Home to theaters sooner rather than later. colliders reported.
The multifaceted filmmaker entrusted 29-year-old Pete with the disturbing lead that, if portrayed correctly, will leave viewers uneasy.
James conveyed some of the plot to the entertainment publication and outlined the film’s overarching themes.
“I don’t want to give too much away, but this is about him. He’s a graffiti artist,” he told Collider.

“He gets in trouble with the law and his community service, instead of going to jail he needs to live and become the new supervisor in a retirement home.”
“So it’s about how older generations interact with youth in America.”
“Of course, then there’s some strong horror and crazy mythology about what these people are and who they are and what they’re doing in this house and how that’s affecting the youth of America,” James concluded.
The film’s creator stressed that fans shouldn’t doubt the Bupkis star’s ability to play such a serious role, since he usually makes funny films.
