Pepperoni-loving parrot amazes owners by learning dominoes yodeling from TV

A PARROT can perform the domino yodel from the TV commercial – and got its owner a cheap pizza.
Ruby, a “mouthed” Gray African, learned the “domino-hoo-hoo” cry within days of hearing it.
Claire McCarthy, 49, says the gobby squabblers are always picking up songs and jingles – unlike her quieter brother Grey.
The warehouse worker, who has had them both since they were six weeks old, said: “Ruby is the one who learned the domino yodel – Gray doesn’t speak much.
“Ruby sings a few other little songs.
“She heard that from Domino and within two days she learned it.
“She’s very muzzled – you can argue with her. It’s funny because Gray hardly speaks.
“The only thing he screams is, ‘Come on!’
“I sent the video to Domino’s and they contacted me to give me a 50 percent discount coupon. They really enjoyed it. I haven’t ordered one yet.”
Claire from Bexley, South East Londonsays Gobby Ruby also communicates with Amazon’s voice service – and loves teasing her poor sister.
She said: “Ruby records a lot of stuff. Right now she just says “Alexa” and I’ve set Alexa to say “Hi Ruby” back.
“She’s going to sing that James Blunt song ‘You’re beautiful.’
“They’ll both be whistling McDonald’s music – then she’ll sing ‘Grey loves his mummy,’ which he hates.”
A Domino’s spokesman said of the yodel, “We love hearing the big and good use it when their buddies get together to order a pizza.
“This is definitely the first of our feathered friends we’ve seen yodeling.
“A big thank you to Claire for sharing it with us. We hope you enjoyed your hot thank you pizza!”
