Luckily, there are a few ways to prevent robocalls from completely swamping your iPhone.

Block known robocalls on your iPhone

Thanks to some built-in iPhone settings, users can prevent known robocalls from spamming their devices.

This is a good option for users who are constantly being bothered by the same number over and over again.

To do this, open the Phone app and tap youngest > Locate the RoboCall number.

Tap the blue information icon to the right of the number > tap Block this caller.

You can also tap Block contact in the pop-up message that appears.

Block all unknown numbers

iPhones have a second built-in spam blocker that will mute all unknown callers.

“The [silences] Phone numbers you’ve never had contact with and don’t have in your contacts list,” Apple said on its website.

“If you have previously texted someone using their phone number, or if a person has shared their phone number with you in an email, a call will go through from that number,” they added.

To turn this option on, open the Settings app > tap On. phone > Mute unknown callers.

Of course, this means that important phone calls might also be muted, requiring you to check your missed calls more often.

withdraw number

A third option is to ban your number so spammers don’t have your information at all.

You can do this by adding your number to the FTC’s National Do Not Call Registry.

A second option is to use a third-party service such as Incogni’s automated personal data removal service.

“Incogni will track down the data brokers who are most likely trading your personal information,” notes Apple Insider.

“It will then send out wave after wave of opt-out requests on your behalf,” the site added.
