Penn Badgley reacts to Laura Ingraham’s Viral ‘YOU’ video on Fox News

A segment of Fox News which hosts Laura Ingraham and guest Raymond Arroyo try a bit of “who was first” about the Netflix show FRIEND drawing me well deserved from the series star Penn Badgley.

Before we dive in, here’s a little more context: On Monday night’s episode of Ingraham’s Corner, Arroyo mentioned “watching an episode of FRIEND where measles appeared. Please explain this nonsense, which we will just share verbatim:

Ingraham: When did I mention measles?
Arroyo: I don’t know, it was on FRIEND.
Ingraham: [Fake laughs] What’s wrong with me? What do you talking about? I have never had measles. We have never done a measles wave and vaccine. Is this a racing ash?
Arroyo: It’s still there FRIEND!
Ingraham: Raymond, I’ve never had measles. What do you talking about? So stupid.
Arroyo: It was an episode of a show, Laura.
Ingraham: What is it called?
Arroyo: FRIEND!

Tens of thousands of Twitter users began sharing the viral video, believing – for whatever reason – that both Ingraham and Arroyo were real in their confusion. Wow, FRIEND Badgley star could not be convinced. Here’s what he had to say on Tuesday:

As Badgley notes, the joke’s inauthenticity is revealed when Arroyo very clearly pauses at Ingraham’s answer. Better luck next time!
