Penguins renews contract with Drew O’Connor for one more year – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Penguin striker Drew O’Connor will stay in black and yellow for at least another year.

The team announced that he has been signed to a one-year, one-way contract worth $750,000.

The 23-year-old has stints for both the NHL and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
In Pittsburgh, he scored 3 goals, 2 assists and 5 points in 22 games, while at Wilkes-Barre he scored 7 goals and 7 assists for 14 points in 13 games.

O’Connor signed with Penguins as an untrained freelance agent in March 2020.
