Pele “continues to show improvement and is conscious” as the Brazilian legend is in hospital battling cancer

PELE is showing improvements in its fight against colon cancer, a medical report released today has revealed.
The 82-year-old Brazilian has been in hospital since November 29 as he is being treated for the disease.

Upon arriving at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Pele was also diagnosed with a respiratory infection.
In a statement released today by the hospital, it was announced: “The patient continues to show improvement in clinical condition, particularly respiratory infection.
“He remains in a normal room, conscious and with stable vital signs.”
It is still unclear when Pelé can go home.
