Michael Smith and Peter Wright secured their spot in the grand final of the PDC World Championship.

Smith was the first to progress, beating James Wade 6-3 in the first semi-final of the night.

He made it to his second final at Ally Pally and is looking for a better final than he did in 2019.

Peter Wright then secured his spot in the final with a thrilling 6-4 victory over fellow Scotsman Gary Anderson.

Snakebite went in 24 seconds 180 in the process, setting a new record for the most points in a PDC World Championship match.

Wright, the 2020 contest winner, is looking to raise the trophy for the second time in just three years.

Monday night’s winner also took home a whopping £500,000 prize money.
