Paul Pogba retired in tears 24 minutes into the FIRST Juventus season as the former Man Utd star’s injury hell rages on

JUVENTUS superstar Paul Pogba broke down in tears after being sent off in his first start of the season.
Pogba returned to Juve from Manchester United last summer but has been plagued by injuries throughout the season.
The midfielder finally seemed fit again when he started the Serie A clash against Cremonese at the Allianz Stadium.
However, the France international suffered another injury after just 24 minutes and had to be substituted by Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri.
The 30-year-old was completely devastated as he limped off the pitch in tears.
Pogba got so emotional that he covered his face with his t-shirt when he was substituted and was replaced by Arkadiusz Milik.
Initial reports from Juventus medical staff suggest it is a quadriceps problem in the left thigh.
Allegri told DAZN: “We are all disappointed, especially because he was doing very well. It’s sad because he made so many sacrifices to recover and now has to stop again after experiencing quadriceps pain.
“Paul is a grown man, he has broad shoulders and he can take it.
“It’s only natural that there are risks after you haven’t played much for a year and when you start for the first time the chance of getting injured increases. He did well, we are sad but we will wait for him.”

The Frenchman has been injured since the day he returned to the Serie A giants from United.
His last appearance for the Red Devils was a 4-0 defeat by Liverpool at Anfield in April 2022.
The Juventus star had problems with his meniscus and adductor muscles.
The versatile midfielder also underwent knee surgery in September.
Pogba made his first appearance of the season as a substitute against Turin on February 28.
Since then, the World Cup winner has completed a total of nine appearances across all competitions.
He even provided an assist in the Europa League semifinals against Sevilla on Thursday.
However, thanks to goals from Nicolo Fagioli and Gleison Bremer, Juventus managed to beat Cremonese 2-0.
