LIVERPOOL star Luis Diaz’s partner Gera Ponce has posted a picture of the Colombian from his hospital bed after surgery.
The Reds ace, 25, has been missing from Jurgen Klopp’s team since October with a knee injury.
And on Monday, it was confirmed he would be missing for another three months following lateral collateral ligament surgery.
The decision to go under the knife came when he complained about a problem ahead of Liverpool’s Dubai Super Cup friendly against Lyon in Dubai on Sunday.
But despite a frustrating time for Diaz, his longtime partner, Gera, remains positive about his recovery.
She shared snaps of him in his hospital bed as he begins a long road back to action.
She then added the caption on Instagram: “Sometimes the difficulties that arise in our lives directly prepare us to embark on an extraordinary path.
“Patience and strength are required now. But above all, the love of the family.
“We are all here for you, as always. And we’ll see you rise stronger, we love you.”
Diaz did not play in Qatar after Colombia failed to qualify for the World Cup.

On Sunday, Diaz manager Klopp said: “He’s not in the best possible place [mentally]that is clear.
“It was a big disappointment for all of us and for him too. To be honest, it was a nothing situation in training.
“And he felt something, he didn’t feel it very much the next day, but we wanted to be really careful.
“So we said, ‘Come on, let’s have a real look’ and then the news came, which was a real slap in the face, but that’s it.”
Liverpool’s first second leg after the World Cup break comes against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on December 22nd.
They then return to the Premier League game against Aston Villa on Boxing Day before hosting Leicester four days later.
