Pat Sajak snaps at the Wheel of Fortune player: “Don’t blurt things out” before the host’s farewell week ends with a major problem

PAT Sajak came up short with a contestant who broke the rules on Friday’s Wheel of Fortune episode.
The soon-to-retire presenter lectured Alan as he chose a prize puzzle topic before being given the go-ahead.
Pat, 76, ended the first week of his final season with an interview with the animated Alan.
When he got his name right, Alan said, “You got it, man,” and fired finger guns in Pat’s direction.
The game show contestant shared that he got married from Florida with his “college sweetheart” and “two great kids.” “
When Pat said he was a great saxophonist, Alan said, “Let’s not get carried away, Pat,” but he’s been playing for 50 years.

When Alan won comfortably with the top score of $19,000 and Pat said, “You’re going to pick a category now,” the charismatic contestant was allowed to take part in the special one-player bonus round, where huge prizes awaited on the wheel.
“Don’t make me come over there!”
Alan shouted, “Eat and drink!” but Pat had not yet presented the puzzle options for the special prize round.
Pat looked pressured and said, “I have to give you a choice.”
“It’s no fun if I don’t give you a choice! Don’t just blurt things out here.

Don’t let me come over there!” Pat added, pointing his finger guns at Alan like he did at the beginning of the show.

NO ONE CAN WIN THE BONUS ROUND!
Unfortunately, Alan didn’t win the $40,000 bonus puzzle, so Pat’s premiere week last season scored 0/5 in the bonus prizes.
His miss on “Baked Candied Yams” caused an uproar among fans on social media.
“First week of Season 41 and no bonus round wins…can you believe it!” another person wrote.
“A Sloppy starts a brand new season 41 and says goodbye to Pat,” wrote a third.
So far in Pat’s farewell season, the bonus puzzles have been strange – and after a whole week, no one has won them yet.
In the season premiere, Majula was tasked with guessing the “win in overtime,” but she failed.
On Tuesday, Mark lost a whopping $50,000 because he couldn’t guess “Whirling around.”

“Who the hell is using this last bonus puzzle set?!?” wrote a second.
“I’ve never heard of those words together,” replied a third.
On Wednesday, Laryn couldn’t guess “Achieve My Goals” and asked Pat questions about the special round puzzle.
“Alright. Alright. “I’ll do that one day,” she said sarcastically.
When Pat revealed what she had missed – a new VW – Laryn screamed, causing Pat to jump into the air in fright.
On Thursday, the puzzle searched for “A Popular Boutique.”
Unfortunately, the puzzle was “A _ _ _ _ LAR _ _ _ T _ _ _ _ E,” so it looked almost impossible.
Pat was stumped before the timer started: “Well… that’s all I have to say,” he said, bursting into laughter, which made Melissa laugh.
PAT’S A WRAP!
In June 2023, Pat told fans in a personal note on X, formerly Twitter: “Well, the time has come. I have decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last.”
“It’s been a wonderful ride and I’ll have more to say in the coming months.”
Pat will host until June 2024 and then step down in place of Ryan Seacrest.
Ryan, 42, shared in a statement excited about the news: “I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and collaborating with the amazing Vanna White.”
However, the future of the popular letter turner after Pat is still unclear.

Vanna’s contract runs until 2024, when he retires, and she is currently in an unsettled salary fight for a well-deserved raise, her first in 18 years.
Some fans aren’t convinced by Seacrest’s takeover and believe Pat’s daughter Maggie Sajak, 28, would have formed a winning team with Vanna.
