PAT Sajak took a dig at his co-star Vanna White on Thursday’s episode of Wheel of Fortune.
A participant named Beryl missed out on the hefty prize of $100,000, but received a sweet consolation prize from 66-year-old Vanna.
Pat, 76, chatted to Beryl during the interview portion of the Wheel of Fortune episode.
Pat revealed to the audience that Beryl had met Vanna White, 66, before her appearance in the competition.
Beryl confirmed that she met Vanna in 2015 at Myrtle Beach Airport in South Carolina.
“[When I met her] she was so nice [and] “She let me take a photo with her,” Beryl confessed.
She reiterated that while Vanna was “really nice,” she refused to share the pound cake the TV personality was carrying with Beryl.
Unfortunately, after Beryl shared about the interaction between her and Vanna, Beryl lost the grand prize.
“Well, you didn’t get the $100,000, but instead you’re replacing Vanna,” Pat joked with Beryl in the end credits scene. “No not at all!” he then assured.
He also jokingly insisted that Vanna needed to “make it up to” Beryl for not sharing her pound cake at the airport.

Ever the good sport, Vanna took the stage and presented Beryl with a piece of pound cake.
Meanwhile, Vanna, 66, had a successful week as she finally got executives to extend her contract on September 20 after months of salary battles.
Her contract runs through the 2026 season and will see her appear on the popular game show with Pat’s successor, Ryan Seacrest, for at least two years.
Accordingly TMZWhite received a “significant raise” with the deal, but the exact figure is not being disclosed.
Vanna, who earns $3 million per season, had reportedly demanded a pay rise from the show’s producers, claiming that she had only received bonuses for the past 18 years.
She reportedly contacted a lawyer and demanded half of current host Pat Sajak’s $15 million annual salary.
Ryan will take over from 76-year-old Pat after his amazing 40 years as host at the end of the currently airing season in June 2024.
