Pat McAfee predicts USMNT World Cup success and proclaims ‘the homecoming of Lombardi football’.

PAT MCAFEE confident the 2022 World Championship will lose to the USMNT.

The former NFL player-turned-broadcaster said on his show Wednesday that “football Lombardi is coming home.”

Looking ahead to the USMNT’s first game, McAfee predicted that “the United States of America will beat the f**k of Wales”.

He later said: “Wales, we apologize that you happen to be in our way.

“And then Friday, England, 1776 2.0.”

And McAfee didn’t stop there.

He went on to announce: “We will win every football Lombardi from this point forward.

However, McAfee admitted that “it’s a damn shame that the first one we’re going to get happens to be in Qatar, so nobody gets to go, enjoy it, celebrate it, broadcast it, anything.”

This came after a Danish broadcaster was confronted live with security forces in Qatar.

McAfee continued, “But this is where we thrive. Those are the situations where we do well.

“‘Oh, we can’t have fun? We don’t want to have fun. We are here to make a football Lombardi. Oh, our fans can’t be here? You’re not allowed to eat when you’re here? Anyway, we’ll do it in front of your fans.’

“Congratulations to the United States of America on winning Football Lombardi.”

The USMNT kick off their World Cup campaign on Monday, November 21 at 2pm ET when they take on Wales at the Al Rayyan Stadium.
