Pasha Lee’s friends hail him as a ‘true hero’ and ‘inspirational warrior of light’ after the Hobbit star was killed in the Ukraine war

PASHA Lee’s friends paid tribute to the “true hero” actor who died fighting the Russian invaders.
The Ukrainian star of ‘The Hobbit’, who quit his job to defend his country, was also described by a heartbroken friend as an “inspirational warrior of light”.
The 33-year-old man, also a TV presenter, only enlisted last week but died under shelling are from Vladimir Putin’s forces in Irpin, just northwest of Kyiv.
Paying homage, actor Evgeny Shekera said he described his friend as a “real hero” in a social media post.
“He is an example of dedication and has always been an inspiration to me. When he was with me smiling, when we met, he hugged me.
“Pash – I love you. You mean a lot to me and to everyone. ”
Singer Dmitry Shurov also paid tribute to Lee, saying “there is nothing worse than war”.
“And you can understand this just by experiencing it yourself.
“When you lose everything that’s precious to you. When there’s no more ground under your feet.
“There can be no adequate punishment in this world for those who start wars. Rest in peace… .a good and wonderful light warrior, Pasha Lee. ”
In his haunting final post three days ago, he shared a photo of himself in military uniform with a friend with a caption with a positive message.
He wrote: “Over the last 48 hours, got a chance to sit down and take pictures of how we’re being bombed, and we smile because we’ll make it through and everything will be WE Brother and Sister. WORKING!”

Pasha is said to have joined the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the first day of the Russian invasion and was stationed in Irpin.
His death was confirmed by Sergiy Tomilenko, President of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
Tomilenko said he wanted to “send my sincere condolences to Pasha’s family and loved ones”.
Julia Ostrovsk, head of the UATV/DOM Platform, with whom Lee presented a show, described him as “the funniest and funniest” of their TV presenters.
In one of his last Instagram posts, published 5 days ago, he shared a photo of himself in military uniform and urged the Ukrainians to “join” him in the war.
A former co-star Anastasiya Kasilova, who appeared with him in the 2021 TV series “Province” – one of his last projects – also paid tribute to the actor on Facebook.
“He is an actor, TV presenter, colleague of mine and a good acquaintance,” she wrote.
“Never forgive!”
Pasha has voiced Ukrainian for Hollywood films including The Hobbit and The Lion King.
He is best known as the host of the popular entertainment show “Day At Home” and dubbing films into Ukrainian, including The Lion King and The Hobbit.
