Arsenal have been given a boost ahead of their trip to Anfield on Saturday as it looks as though Thomas Partey will be available for the game against Liverpool.
Although it was not specifically announced, The club’s latest medical updates just mentioned Sead Kolasinac and Granit Xhaka, and said, “All the other players in the first-team squad are now fit and available to choose from.”
The Ghana international missed our 1-0 win over Watford because of a groin strain and was subsequently unable to play for his country during the international break. However, based on this update, we’re going to assume he’s squabbling over the game with the Mugsmashers.
Meanwhile, Sead Kolasinac has picked up a ‘significant’ injury to his left ankle, encountered while playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3-1 loss to Finland.
He will be evaluated and there is still no time frame for recovery. However, with Kieran Tierney back in full swing and Nuno Tavares impressing during his absence, Arsenal are well covered at left-back.
Granite Xhaka continues to rehabilitate from a knee injury and is expected to return in early 2022.
