Paris Fury doubts Tyson will leave the ring, telling Piers Morgan on TalkTV ‘He’s still itching for certain fights’

PARIS Fury doubts her heavyweight champion husband Tyson will leave the ring and says “he’s still itching for certain fights”.

Fury had promised to retire in April after his KO of Dillian Whyte at Wembley left him unbeaten and £150million on the bench.

Recent reports suggested he could face the winner of Anthony Joshua’s rematch against Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed match.

But the undefeated Mancunian quickly put those rumors to rest as he denied he was in talks of a return to the ring.

But now his wife says he “still has a twinkle in his eye” and says he hasn’t finally hung up his gloves.

Speaking to Piers Morgan on TalkTV tonight, she said: “I want him to retire but something in the back of my mind says he’s dying for another fight.

“It’s there – the woman’s instinct. Something out there is still calling him.

“As a wife, I just look and I’m like, ‘Are you done?’

“I hope he is. I hope he chooses a different path, but honestly I think there’s a question mark there.”

Paris also revealed she made a bet with Tyson’s lawyer that he will get back in the ring.

She added: “After the first fight with Deontay Wilder I begged him not to fight again and then he fought again and now he’s saying he quit again.

“I just don’t think it’s the end. I was just wondering. You never know, we’ll wait and see.”

Paris also denied she is pregnant after months of speculation.

Fury, 33, currently has six children – the youngest, Athena, was born last August just before his latest fight, the trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder.

The others are Venezuela (12), Prince John James (9), Prince Tyson II (5), Valencia (4) and Prince Adonis Amaziah (2).

And during the interview, Fury backed former boxing champion Julius Francis after he KO’d an aggressive reveler at Wembley, west London.

The world champion fighter said: “I saw the video by the way, great right hand.

“That’s what happens when you’re cheeky and rude and you get in people’s faces. What do you expect?

“If you keep kicking a dog, it’s going to bite you, isn’t it? These guys do a job there, they weren’t on the whip together.

“This guy woke up from whatever and had a few drinks to get naughty. These guys are doing their job and he’s attacking them… so he’s got his chin on.

“And it’s a life lesson, isn’t it – never go out and be naughty to big men. Because you’re probably going to get a chin sooner or later.”

It comes after The Sun revealed Tyson will fight – but it has to be for the right money.

The self-proclaimed Gypsy King has announced he will hit back if offered half a billion pounds.

Speaking on Talk TV tonight, he said: “I’m not interested in fighting anymore. Enough is enough, but I said I’d come back for half a billy.

“If that isn’t ridiculous enough to think I don’t know what it is. When the numbers are on the table, I’ll look at them. Half a billy is half a billy.”

Fury is no stranger to making wild remarks, having previously revealed he plans to pursue a career in WWE.

He even welcomed the UFC heavyweight champion into the ring after beating Whyte to tease a sensational crossover fight with the MMA ace.
