Paranormal Park Trailer, Release Date, Cast, Synopsis and More

If you’re like me and always open to finding new animated shows with a darker edge, then the upcoming Netflix animated series is the one to keep Dead end: Paranormal Park on your radar. Formerly known as DeadEndiaThis upcoming fantasy horror comedy show was created by Hamish Steele and is based on the graphic novels of the same name and a cartoon web short.

The novels were also created by Steele and the web short is by Steele and Cartoon Hangover’s Too Cool! Cartoons, it’s called Dead End. The series follows a group of friends and their magical talking dog as they juggle summer jobs at a local haunted house while attempting to fend off the very real supernatural forces that lurk within.

Steele is the creator and will also serve as executive producer on the show, which is being produced by Blink Industries and Netflix Animation. Tom Stuart (Angry Birds on the run) will also be executive producer.

We finally have a release date for the first season of the series! Season 1 starts on June 16, 2022.

The cast is an exciting one that includes Pretty smart star Emily Osment, Spider-Man: Far From Home Actor Zach Barack and more talented actors. Alex Brightman, who voices the magical talking dog Pugsley, is best known for his starring role Beetlejuice The Musical.

One of the most exciting aspects of dead end is that the show is very diverse and queer-friendly. The main character Barney is transgender.

Dead End: Paranormal Park follows the adventures of Barney, Norma and the magical talking dog Pugsley as they balance their summer jobs at the local theme park’s haunted house while battling the very real supernatural forces that inhabit it. Along with their guide through the underworld’s multiplane, a smug thousand-year-old demon named Courtney, they’ll face off against zombie mascots, demonic game show hosts, sleep-sucking witches, and the scariest thing of all: their first crushes!
