Papa John’s launches new summer menu with special Oreo treat that diners call ‘incredible’

Thanks to Papa John’s new Oreo dessert, SUMMER just got a little sweeter.

The pizzeria introduced Papa Bites – small pockets made from the famous pizza dough, filled with savory or sweet filling.

Guests have three options for the appetizers; Chicken Parmesan, Jalapeño and Oreo. There are eight appetizers and a dipping sauce for each flavor.

The Chicken Parmesan Bites are filled with grilled chicken, parmesan cheese and pizza sauce, then topped with a garlic parmesan topping and served with pizza dip.

The jalapeño option consists of Papa John’s signature cheese, alfredo sauce, jalapeños, and a ranch dipping sauce.

And for those with a sweet tooth, there are Oreo bites with cheesecake filling, Oreo cookie pieces and icing. It is also served with a side of glaze for dipping.

The Oreo bites are particularly popular with fans, one of them even saying They had “never tried anything so delicious”.

“Papa John’s really loved these Oreo bites,” said another customer tweeted.

A review of the Oreo Bites by The Express called them “amazing” and “delicious.”

“Our opinion? Absolutely delicious. When they arrived wonderfully warm, they were soft and chewy, with the perfect amount of frosting for Oreo crumbs,” reads the article.

COOKIE CRAZY

It seems like Oreos are having a moment this summer.

First, the company brought back the iconic Oreo Cakesters.

Oreo Cakesters were popular in the 2000s before being discontinued in 2012 but made a triumphant return.

In May the brand promoting the sweet treat, teasing, “Now you can have your cake and OREO cookie too.”

One shopper said: “After almost a year of searching I’ve just found a bulk pack at Sam’s Club. It’s now my kid’s favorite snack.”

And Baskin-Robbins launched two Oreo-inspired ice cream treats this month.

The Oreo Mega Stuf Cone is an Oreo-flavored cone cone that features a drizzle of Oreo Cream, two scoops of classic Cookies ‘n Cream ice cream, and another layer of Oreo Cream filling.

It’s all topped with whipped cream and crumbled Oreo biscuits.

In other food news, Ben & Jerry’s fans are mourning the loss of an incredibly popular flavor.

Also, McDonald’s suddenly announced that it was eliminating several baked goods.
