PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Rain and snow showers will continue tonight, eventually turning to snow later in the evening as temperatures drop with a passing cold front.
It will be cool and windy tomorrow until lunchtime and snow showers will eventually taper off as the afternoon progresses.

Alarm: First alert tonight and tomorrow for snow showers and snow accumulation at higher elevations/slippery ride.
Deliberately: A wintry mix could potentially turn to rain overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, but it’s too early to tell at this point – warm temperatures could keep things liquid. Will watch and keep you posted.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect through 1 a.m. for the Ridges and Somerset counties, while Garrett and Tucker Counties are under a winter storm warning through 5 a.m. (a few extra inches of snow could be seen at higher elevations).

Look for up to an inch of snow this evening and through lunch tomorrow at lower elevations and slightly higher amounts north, closer to I-80. The Laurels/Ridges still have the best chance of a few inches of snow tonight before things ease up later in the day tomorrow.

The last few snow showers could linger east and north into Sunday evening.
Monday will be cold with highs battling around 30 (this could be a record low for the day… the record is 30 degrees for Pittsburgh).
On Tuesday it will be a little warmer and on Wednesday the temperatures will decrease.
Some rain could start as a wintry mix/freezing early overnight Tuesday through Wednesday, but there’s a good chance temperatures will be warm enough to see it all rain.
It’s worth watching and we’ll update you as we get closer if it looks like slippery conditions are developing.
