Oslo attack: Two people killed and several others injured in gunfire at a gay nightclub

Two people are dead and several injured when a gunman opened fire on a gay man in Oslo, Norway.

Oslo police confirmed the shooting took place at the London Pub nightclub.

“Several shots were fired at a downtown nightclub,” the tweet said.

“Two people have been confirmed dead in the shooting.

“There are several seriously injured.”

Norway’s BNN Newsroom tweeted: “Police are asking people in the area to move to make room for ambulances.”

Footage of what appears to be the scene shows a barrage of police cars and ambulances outside the club.

Nothing is currently known about a motive.

A major police operation is underway, with many ambulances in the area.
