One in custody, no injuries after shooting at Millennium Harvest House in Boulder


Police lifted protective orders and took one person into custody after they reportedly fired shots in their room at Millennium Harvest House.
CU Boulder Police tweeted an 911 call at 10 a.m. stating that gunshots had been fired at 1345 28th St.
Boulder police tweeted at 10:39 a.m. that police have one person in custody but are still working to clear the hotel. Just before noon, police said they searched the hotel room by room and found no injuries or other suspects.
Boulder Police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh said the man taken into custody was staying at the hotel and police found evidence of numerous shootings and multiple firearms in the room.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital and will then be sent to the Boulder County Jail. The possible fees were not immediately available.
Police said they are currently unsure if other people were involved or were in the room at the time of the incident.
It was a protective order for people in the area of Arapahoe Avenue through Taft Drive and 28th through Folsom Street, but it was lifted at noon.
