Oleksandr Usyk plays in charity basketball game while relaxing as Tyson Fury gets closer to Anthony Joshua fight

OLEKSANDR USYK was photographed relaxing at a charity basketball game in Ukraine weeks after beating Anthony Joshua.
The Ukrainian boxer won’t fight another opponent this year due to injury and wants to spend time with his family.

So while Joshua and Tyson Fury work out a date for their Battle of Britain, Usyk instead enjoyed a low-stakes basketball game.
Fury’s camp were keen to see if a fight with the Jeddah winner could be arranged before the end of the year but Usyk’s injury dashed those plans.
Instead, Fury seems ready to fight AJ while both of their teams try to organize a November or December date.
The 34-year-old set social media on fire when he surprisingly called out Joshua for a fight.

His offer came just weeks after Joshua lost to Usyk for the second time.
The fight gives Joshua a chance to capture the WBC world title if he wins, but camps are still bickering over dates.
However, reports suggest a deal is on the horizon and the fight could be the biggest in British boxing history.
And in another twist, Usyk has even offered to train Joshua for the fight should it come to that.
Negotiations are currently on hold following the death of the Queen.
Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren told Talksport they paused the talks out of respect for Her Majesty.
He said: “We’ve put everything on hold at the moment. It was obviously not appropriate. This is how we feel.
“We’ve put it on hold and will pick it up again in the next week or so.
“From our point of view, out of respect for what happened, we do not consider it appropriate.”
