And now the Wanderers are changing the name yet again to something bordering on X-rated.

The League One club’s new home will be known as Toughsheet Community Stadium for the next five years.

This comes after the club signed a deal with Bolton-based building products manufacturer Toughsheet.

Bolton announced: “Bolton Wanderers are delighted to officially announce a new five-year stadium naming rights deal with Bolton-based building products manufacturer Toughsheet.

“Effective July 1, 2023, the stadium will be renamed Toughsheet Community Stadium.”

Bolton fans were hysterical at this “terrible” decision and took to Twitter to express their frustration.

Some even refused to believe this is real and hope some heavy investments will be included.

One fan tweeted: “Oh no!! That’s awful!”

Another supporter wrote: “Hope we get some serious money for this because that might be one of the most meme-iest names that could have been given to him.”

A third wrote: “Oh my god that’s a terrible name. will always be Reebok.”

This fan commented, “It’s not April 1st.”

And he said, “That can’t be true.”
