Brandon Moreno surpassed Deiveson Figueedlyo in their battle trio at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on Saturday. Figuentico defeated Moreno by unanimous decision (48-47 x3) in the co-main event of UFC 270 to regain his flyweight championship.
‘The Assassin Baby’ had the upper hand over ‘Deus Da Guerra’ by having a significant total hit by a small margin. Sportsbook writer Adam Martin believes three kills have made all the difference for the new owner. Martin tweeted:
“Moreno vs. Figueosystemo official stats. Moreno took more hits, BUT Figgy had 3 kills. In a very close skirmish, it looked like those kills were the difference. # UFC270”
Figueedlyo currently holds the professional record of 21-2-1, while Moreno’s is 19-6-2.
