MANCHESTER UNITED return to the Premier League against Nottingham Forest today – and they will be determined to put their midweek drama behind them.

The Red Devils were on pole for a Europa League semi-final spot thanks to Marcel Sabitzer’s brace against Sevilla.

However, Erik ten Hag will believe his side can make that miserable performance against a side they have defeated three times this season a distant memory.

But the United gaffer has an injury dilemma as key players are likely to be absent for the game.

However, Erik ten Hag has some major squad problems of his own with Marcus Rashford (groin), Donny van de Beek (knee), Luke Shaw (hamstring), Tom Heaton (ankle) and Alejandro Garnacho (ankle) all expected to sit out.

But to make matters worse, the United manager lost his pair of centre-backs Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez at Sevilla – Martinez is out for the rest of the season with a broken metatarsal.
