NOTTINGHAM FOREST keeping tabs on RB Leipzig ace Angelino, reports say.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim Forest have made a request to Leipzig as they want to loan the talented left-back.
Manager Steve Cooper wants cover at full-back after losing signing Omar Richards in the summer with a hairline fracture that could see him sidelined for quite a while.
That’s why the newly promoted Premier League side have reached out to 25-year-old Angelino, but they face competition for his signature.
The Spaniard has attracted interest from both Brighton and Hoffenheim during the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has impressed at Leipzig since joining Manchester City on loan in 2020, which became a permanent deal a year later.
The former Spain U21 international has already scored a total of 12 goals and 28 assists in 98 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
Forest have been very active in the summer transfer window as they have already paid a fee in the region of £85million for a dozen players including Dean Henderson, Jesse Lingard, Neco Williams and more.
And Nottingham are now looking to complete three more signings before transfer deadline day as they look to add a left-back, a midfielder and a striker.
Real Betis full-back Alex Moreno was targeted but the Prem side struggled to agree on terms.

Forest have also asked about Atalanta midfielder Remo Freuler and Wolves star Morgan Gibbs-White.
