North West, 9, flaunts ‘inappropriate’ look in new TikTok after Kim Kardashian was ripped for ‘ruining her self-esteem’

KIM Kardashian’s daughter North West has shown off her Hello Kitty manicure in a new TikTok after fans claimed it was ‘inappropriate’.

The nine-year-old and the 42-year-old reality star flaunted their matching chunky acrylic nails during their trip to Tokyo.

The clip showed Kim and North walking across a bridge between pink flowering trees and a lake.

The SKIMS founder wore an oversized leather coat while the teen rocked flared trousers and a backpack.

The duo then crossed their hands to show off their manicure.

Keeping her look fairly simple, Kim opted for a French manicure with white lace and a Hello Kitty stick-on on the ring finger.

However, North had a much more elaborate design featuring hearts and stars and Hello Kitty and the cartoon’s pals.

The clip also showed Kim’s son Psalm, three, posing on a lakeside ledge and Kim holding hands with her five-year-old daughter Chicago.

It comes hours after critics wondered if North’s manicure was “inappropriate” for a nine-year-old.

One wrote on Reddit: “Should a 9 year old really have those long nails?”

Another commented: “No just no. It’s inappropriate,” and a third said, “So bad for a young girl’s nails!”

Another user wrote: “No. They look like Khloe’s nails. Just no,” referring to Kim’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian.

FAN GAME

Earlier this month, Kim was slammed for putting a makeup filter over a clip of her and North hugging and kissing.

The teenager appeared to have huge false eyelashes thanks to the clip’s editing.

Fans claimed the filter could “damage” North’s “self-esteem.”

One wrote in an online thread: “It must be so dangerous to a teenager’s self-esteem to use such subtle filters.

“Especially with all the tools at her disposal to then try to end up looking like a filter (fillers, etc.).

“There’s nothing wrong with posting your god-given lashes.”

The backlash comes after The US Sun exclusively revealed North will be launching skincare and toy lines as her mother Kim filed four new brands for her famous daughter.

THE FUTURE OF THE NORTH

Kim prepared North for her prosperous future when she filed four new trademarks in her daughter’s name on March 10, 2023.

The first registered mark relates to ‘non-medicated skin preparations, skin moisturizers, skin lotions, skin creams, skin cleansers’.

North’s beauty line also plans to expand to include “skin serums, facial oils, body oils, bath and shower gels, bubble baths, body powders, cosmetics, fragrances, hair care preparations” and more.

The Hulu star also plans for North to build her own toy business empire, as a second brand, “toy figures, doll accessories, dolls, drawing toys, infant toys, mechanical action toys, action figure playsets, soft sculptures, bathtub toys,” and more.

Your toy company may also include: “Children’s educational toys to develop fine motor and cognitive skills, musical toys, toy food, toy cookware, baby gyms, play balls, and sports balls.”

North’s third trademark promises advertising services, and her fourth involves “entertainment in the nature of providing information via a global computer network in the fields of entertainment and pop culture.”

Kim previously submitted similar marks for North in 2019, but added an additional brand for clothing at the time.
