North Carolina lieutenant governor rejects call to resign over anti-LGBTQ comments

The lieutenant governor’s feedback come after a video circulated final week of him making remarks at Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove, N.C. in June, throughout which Robinson describes transgenderism and homosexuality as “filth.”

“There’s no purpose anyone, wherever in America needs to be telling kids about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth,” Robinson stated within the video.

The remark was a part of remarks Robinson delivered detailing his opposition to instructing about LGBTQ points in public faculties.
