nfl fans argue with super cheap tickets

With Super Bowl was set up, fans were quick to try and grab tickets to the exciting NFL game in two weeks.

The game will see Joe Burrow and the Bengali received it Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams at SoFi Stadium and fans were quick to try and get tickets, but there was only one problem: the price. ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed the cheapest ticket price for the Super Bowl is $6,434 with no fees.

This has led to one NFL fan claiming that some people’s definition of “cheap is very different from their definition of tickets over $6,000.

“Some people’s definition of affordable is very different from mine…”, the user wrote.

Fans furious over Super Bowl ticket prices

For celebrities expected to attend the final post-season NFL game in Los Angeles, ticket prices can be little more than change. However, as one Twitter user points out, more than $6,000 for a ticket isn’t considered cheap for the average NFL fan.

If fans plan to watch the Super Bowl, they’ll have to save every penny to get tickets. One fan posted that they were hoping to see the game but said ordinary people couldn’t afford the ticket price and they would have to mortgage their house just to afford it.

“Ordinary people can’t afford the ticket price. Ridiculous!! Support my Bengalis for life and have to take out a small mortgage to go to the game,” they wrote.

@AdamSchefter @TickPick Ordinary people cannot afford the fare. Comical!! Support my Bengals for life and I have to pay a small mortgage to get into the game.

Similar views are shared about the Super Bowl’s affordability, with one fan saying it’s only for the wealthy. They were very upset that a normal person wouldn’t be able to afford to watch a big game.

@AdamSchefter @TickPick Superbowl is only for the rich. That’s why you mostly only see celebrities at the Superbowl. Millions of old-fashioned Americans will never be able to attend the Superbowl. So sad.

Another Bengals fan responded by saying they were season ticket holders with the AFC team, but a ticket would still cost them a significant amount.

Another fan used the meme, showing that Cincinnati Bengals fans will never cash back when buying Super Bowl tickets.

One football fan shared their disdain at the “ridiculous” prices of Super Bowl and Playoff tickets in general, and even suggested the NFL be investigated for price manipulation.

@AdamSchefter @TickPick It’s ridiculous how often fans are overpaid or forced to pay crazy amounts for playoff/SB tickets! NFL should be ashamed and investigated for price manipulation

Meanwhile, NFL draft analyst and Bengals fan Joe Goodberry tweeted that he plans to enter every possible Super Bowl ticket contest.

Wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp just stepped out and asked someone to buy him Super Bowl tickets, his tweet racking up over 1000 likes.

Another Twitter user took screenshots of ticket prices on certain areas of the field, some as “as low” as $5745 for a ticket and others closer to the $6,000 mark.

Regardless of the ticket price, it is expected that the SoFi Stadium will be sold out by game time against the Bengals, with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, looking to win their first Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, for Los Angeles, their high-octane offense, led by Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr, will be brought to the big screen. So their fearsome defensive front with things like Aaron Donald, Von Miller and Leonard Floyd. As the Rams look to win the Lombardi Cup on their home turf in two weeks’ time.
