Newcastle want former Man Utd and Chelsea leader Peter Kenyon as new CEO after Saudi takeover

NEWCASTLE would like to add experienced Peter Kenyon to their management team as chief executive officer.
The former Manchester United and Chelsea supremo is a leading candidate to run the club off the pitch.
Toon’s new owners wanted expertise and recruited Dan Ashworth for a leading role.
But Kenyon was considered ideal for the CEO position because of his organizational skills and drive for commercial expansion.
Kenyon has been giving advice to clubs since leaving Chelsea but this will be his first major post in a while.
Toon has tried to reshape their off-field team.
Nick Hammond has played a key role in deals since Lee Charnley’s departure.
Kenyon oversaw transfers at both United and Chelsea.
And Newcastle are already flooded with players offered by agents – and will need to work in that area in future windows.
