According to the report, Newcastle United Football Club are preparing a move to Liverpool on loan for defender Nathaniel Phillips. The defender has barely played for the Red Devils this season, making just four appearances in all competitions.

The Magpies have been active in the January transfer window looking for players with the cash backing of their new owners. They signed Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood.
