Newcastle target 18-year-old prodigy Eguinaldo in January but have to pay £26m for the Brazilian second division winger

NEWCASTLE plans a January swoop for Brazilian prodigy Eguinaldo.

The winger’s agent has confirmed Toon is one of several clubs interested in a move this winter.

But Newcastle must meet Eguinaldo’s £26million release clause to get a deal over the line.

The Vasco ace, who plays in Brazil’s second tier, can play three down the front but is most at home on the left flank.

Eguinaldo, 18, has scored three goals in 18 games this season.

And Newcastle have been watching closely after seeing compatriots Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes shine at St James’ Park.

Eguinaldo has just signed a new five-year deal with Vasco.

But that included a new release clause worth £26m for interested parties.

Eguinaldo’s agent has now confirmed Newcastle could reach that number once the January window opens.

However, they may need to move quickly due to interest from other sites.

West Ham’s head of recruitment was spotted at Vasco’s training ground last week, according to reports from Brazil.

And that could fuel the race for Eguinaldo.

His agent told Canal do Pedrosa: “There is an observation from Newcastle on Eguinaldo.

“But there is also the observation of several other clubs.

“These are very early things and they’re not even considered negotiations or anything very official.” https://interreviewed.com/six-things-to-do-if-you-are-in-a-car-crash/. https://worldtimetodays.com/practical-applications-of-personal-loans-to-highly-consider/.
