Newcastle star Kieran Trippier on CRUTCHES and wears protective boots after being taken to hospital following Villa win

KIERAN TRIPPIER scores Newcastle’s win over Aston Villa – then leaves CRUTCHES Stadium.
England players hit a sweet free kick in 35 minutes to stamp three important points for Warblers.
But he was sent off just three minutes into the second half with a foot strike.
And the 31-year-old was later spotted leaving St James’ Park on crutches and boots.
Toon’s manager Eddie Howe later confirmed the right-back had been taken to hospital for an X-ray.
Howe said: “Trippier was trampled and he couldn’t continue with the problem at the top of his foot.
“He went for an X-ray at the hospital. We’re keeping things going with no broken bones there. “
Trippier joined wealthy Newcastle in January as first signing of the Saudi-led era on Tyneside.

He is from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth 12 million pounds when Howe called for reinforcements to help them defeat.
The result against Steven Gerrard’s dangerous Villa helped the home team win 3 consecutive victories.
They are currently four points away from the relegation zone with a game against Norwich ranked below them.
Next up for Howe’s men is West Ham flying high ahead of an important tie with Brentford and Brighton.
