Newcastle fan stabbed three times in Milan after being ‘assaulted by eight thugs’ before Champions League match

A NEWCASTLE United fan was allegedly attacked and stabbed by a group of men before today’s Champions League game in Milan.

The 58-year-old Briton was reportedly attacked by seven to eight men at midnight and was taken to hospital.

Local media reported that the man was attacked and stabbed three times in a neighborhood near central Milan.

The Newcastle fan was reportedly rescued by police and taken straight to hospital to be examined for his wounds. Milan today Reports.

The motive behind the attack is currently unknown and nothing was stolen from the victim.

Police are reportedly investigating whether this was a football-related stabbing.
