Newcastle are ratcheting up transfer interest in Man Utd backup goalkeeper Dean Henderson with £20m rating to become new No1

NEWCASTLE have reportedly increased their interest in Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
The shot-stopper, 25, was linked with a loan move to Toon in January but the two clubs were unable to reach an agreement.

Now Newcastle could take a step towards signing Henderson on a permanent basis this summer, reports The Mirror.
Henderson is said to be keen on playing first-team football and could be eyeing a move if he doesn’t get assurances from Erik ten Hag that he will be the first choice next season.
Newcastle reportedly see the England international as the ideal successor to current No. 1 Martin Dubravka.
Henderson is reportedly valued at around £20million and could make the move as he is unlikely to take De Gea’s place in the team.

The Spaniard is one of the favorites for United’s Player of the Year awards and has limited Henderson to just three appearances this year.
But Ten Hag could be excited to see what Henderson has to offer as the Englishman is better with the ball than United’s No 1.
The Dutchman wants to introduce a new philosophy at Old Trafford where his team will play the ball out from behind.
That has sparked rumors that Ajax keeper Andre Onana could join this summer while the Cameroonian is out of contract at the end of June.

Ten Hag is believed to be planning a raid on the Dutch champions, with Brazilian winger Antony linked with United.
United could also capitalize on the free agent market this summer if Paulo Dybala announces he will leave Juventus.
The Argentine’s agent reportedly arrived in London over the weekend for talks with Premier League clubs – with United and Arsenal said to be interested.
