The purchase of NEWCASTLE star Bruno Guimaraes is said to have been tit-for-tat with Lyon teammate Jerome Boateng just a few weeks ago.
And it is believed to be a training ground explosion with £43m midfielder Guimaraes becoming so hot that ‘some people’ have had to part with it.
French newspaper L’Equipe Says trouble flared when Boateng, 33, was unhappy with comments from the 24-year-old Brazilian.
There is even speculation that the exchange helped convince Guimaraes to go ahead.
But no evidence has been presented to support that view.
And Bayern Munich Legendary Boateng is also said to have had a disturbing confrontation with two teammates when Lyon beat Rennes 4-1 in Ligue 1 on 7/11.
Television cameras caught Boateng shouting at captain Leo Dubois during the match
And in the locker room afterward, he is said to have clashed physically with Lyon’s bubbly teenager Rayan Cherki.

Now, Boateng has paid the price for his dismal first half of a season in France’s top league with the ax of public opinion.
It is reported that his attempts to talk tactics with coach Peter Bosz after the 0-2 loss at Monaco on 5 February were ‘cut short’ by the ex. Ajax manager.
And France U20 midfielder Castello Lukeba has also developed into a key role, further weakening Boateng’s position.
