A NEW video has revealed the $22 disguise of fugitive Kaitlin Armstrong following the yoga teacher’s dramatic arrest in Costa Rica.

Armstrong was arrested June 29 after 43 days on the run after the alleged murder of her love rival and professional athlete Moriah Wilson, 25, who was found dead May 11 in Austin, Texas.

The 34-year-old appears to have cut and dyed her hair, new video footage shows.

The Hurley-brand short-sleeve t-shirt for men that Armstrong is wearing costs just $22, according to Surfdome.

Officials said the fugitive used a fake passport when she boarded a flight from Newark International Airport in New Jersey at 5:09 p.m. on May 18 and arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica at 8:27 p.m.

“The Marshals Service upgraded the investigation of Kaitlin Armstrong to Critical Case status early in this investigation, which likely played a key role in her arrest after 43 days,” said Susan Pamerleau, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas.

“This is an example of how the resources of local, state, federal and international agencies are pooled to apprehend a violent fugitive, put an end to that escape and hopefully bring a sense of closure to the victim’s family.”

Armstrong will now be deported and will return to the United States to face charges in Wilson’s death.

The 25-year-old cycling star had stayed in an Austin apartment ahead of the Gravel Locos race in Hico.

Wilson reportedly told a pal she wanted to go swimming with fellow cyclist Colin Strickland, 35.

The pair previously had an affair, while Strickland took a break from his relationship with Armstrong last October.

They remained friends and continued to spend time together.

But the furious yoga teacher didn’t find out about their brief romance until January – and reportedly started “trembling with anger.”

Cops believe Armstrong went berserk after she discovered her boyfriend was having a secret affair with his former flame, Wilson, on May 11.

They said Strickland told Armstrong he wanted to deliver flowers, but his phone’s battery died so he couldn’t reach them.

But he did take a dip with Wilson in the Deep Eddy Pool – which police say motivated Armstrong to seek deadly revenge.

Strickland had escorted his former lover back to the house around 8:30 p.m., just before Armstrong’s black 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee was found roaming the street.

She is believed to have discovered the duo’s location after finding Moriah’s public account on the Strava fitness app.

Shortly after the SUV was captured by a Ring camera, Wilson’s girlfriend returned home to find her shot to death in a pool of blood.

Yoga teacher Armstrong then returned home to Strickland after allegedly murdering the 25-year-old and was arrested by police – before disappearing.

Wilson suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators concluded that she had been hit multiple times with a 9mm round – the same caliber of a gun Strickland reportedly bought for himself and Armstrong.

On May 19, Armstrong was charged with first-degree murder on affidavit.

On June 23, US Marshals announced they had found Armstrong’s black Jeep Grand Cherokee at a CarMax dealership in south Austin.

Investigators say she sold the vehicle to the Austin dealership for $12,200 two days after Wilson was found dead.

Officials say Armstrong received a check from the dealer a day after Austin police questioned him.

The 34-year-old departed Austin International Airport on May 14 and was last sighted at Newark International Airport four days later.

At the time, authorities said no outbound flights were operated with reservations under her name.

Strickland exclusively told The Sun that Armstrong “had sides to her personality that I don’t think she shared with anyone.”

“I would say she’s one of the most volatile people I’ve ever met,” Strickland told The Sun.

“I had no indication of anything like that.”

Cyclist Strickland admitted to The Sun that he and Wilson had a brief fling in 2021, but he claims it was after he and Armstrong agreed to see other people.

“I had broken up with Kaitlin, and it was just an interesting timing because that week Mo had come down to Austin to visit a friend,” Strickland said.

“It was completely unplanned, and yes, we started spending some time together.”

Regarding his brief dating relationship with Wilson, Strickland said that this “was made clear to Kaitlin at the time and Kaitlin started dating other men right after that.”

“We clearly went our separate ways, but we just didn’t have enough inertia to part ways.”
