New Netflix Movies and Shows: September 1, 2022

September is here, and alongside the launch of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, sweater weather, and falling leaves, the beginning of the month also means Netflix is adding a whole host of new movies and shows to its lineup. Thursday September 1st brings a franchise or two and a whole bunch of romance movies (both new and old).

The two franchises coming to Netflix include Austin Powers and resident Evil. Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Austin Powers: The spy who shagged meand Austin Powers in Goldmember will all be available on the streaming service starting September 1st.

resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypseand Resident Evil: Vengeance will also be available on September 1st. It’s interesting that Netflix is adding a number of resident Evil Movies when they just canceled the series, but if you want to binge-watch the franchise after the show, now is the time! It’s not the entire series of films, but at least you can watch a few.

There’s also a slew of romance movies coming to Netflix on September 1, including older movies like A Cinderella story, clueless, He’s just not that into you, The Bridges of Madison County, Get the last danceand The notebook, but it also includes the latest rom-com from Netflix, love in the mansion.

The new rom-com stars Tom Hopper and Kat Graham as a single couple sharing the same villa in Verona, Italy. Graham’s character is there because she booked the villa for herself and her boyfriend, but he left her before the trip. On the other hand, Hopper’s character isn’t the greatest advocate of love. They’re quite the couple. At first they despise each other quite a bit, but as they spend more time together, the spark of something starts to form.
