New Elden Ring Trailer Premieres Brand New Cinematic Story Trailer

A new brand Elden Ring The trailer that debuted at The Game Awards focuses primarily on the expanded story concerning the war between the demigods.

The cinematic story is light on gameplay but instead delves into the lore of the Elden Ring. FromSoftware RPG next takes place in the context of the war between demigods fighting each other to take over the Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is a collaboration between FromSoftware and the author of A Song of Ice and Fire, George RR Martin. The mind behind Game of Thrones was responsible for creating the lore and narrative foundation of Elden Ring while FromSoft used the framework to build the rest of the game. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki is also working on in-game writing for Elden Ring.

The trailer includes several references to some of the demigods that reside in the Elden Ring world, names that will be familiar to anyone who has read our Elden Ring preview. Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games of 2022, and recently delayed until February 25. But considering we’re so close to the end of the year, that doesn’t seem like a long wait.
