A new HUGE indoor water park is being planned for Scotland, with pools, slides and a thermal spa.
It will be the second to open in the UK, with a Therme waterpark opening in Manchester over the next few years.
New attraction planned for central Glasgow next to Riverside Museum, cost £100m.
It will include a giant indoor water park, heated swimming pools and spas, botanical gardens and a wellness and wellness center.
Also in the 320,000sq/ft attraction will be a vertical farm to grow their own food.
Therme Group CEO Stelian Iacob said: “Therme Scotland will create a fun and accessible experience with profound health and well-being benefits for all.
“We look forward to interacting with the Glasgow community as we progress in the design and development of Therme Scotland.”
Applications for site planning will be submitted next year.
The £250m Therme Manchester will open in 2024, its first store in the UK.
The 28-acre site, the size of 19 football fields, will feature a family-friendly area with 25 pools, including a whirlpool, as well as more than 35 waterslides and water fitness classes.
Guests will also be able to relax in the palm tree relaxation area, or the 2-acre rose-shaped “wellness garden” with diverse plant species and water features.
Adults can enjoy a kid-free time with the kid-free zone, which will feature a lagoon, mineral bar, swim-up bar, 30 steam rooms and saunas.
A £75m water park inspired by Indiana Jones could also open in the UK soon, while in Germany a water park called Tropical Islands is open year-round with mild temperatures and lakes warm.
We have also compiled the best water parks in the world.
